Hi Everyone! I'm so excited! This weekend is the first safe planting weekend in my area, so I'm off to start my salsa garden and plant a few flowers... maybe divide some perennials and spread the love around a bit... What're you up to this weekend?

Hi there. I just read this article [link] regarding someone stealing many many pieces in the photomanipulation category and making them available for download without permission, while also taking credit for the work. Please check out the news article, and the corresponding site to see if your work has been ripped. If you do find your work has been ripped, please follow the originating site's privacy policy, found here: [link] to report them and follow due process to make things right.

Sorry this isn't a more upbeat entry, but I felt since I have quite a few friends here that work in the photomanipulation category, that I was obligated to pass on what I read.

I've been reading a lot about this Orphaned Works Legislation.... and I have found an excellent journal entry [link] regarding a factual breakdown of what the Legislation is about, and, for those who oppose it, a worthwhile petition to sign.
