Hooray For Vacation

I'm on vacation!!!! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!!!!!!!

It's day two.... and today we are going to go to the Air Zoo. We went last year, and really enjoyed it, so this year we are bringing some people with us, and doing it again! It's their 30th anniversary this year, so they are giving free general admission... it's shaping up to be a fun day, and of course I'm going to find some fun activities and fireworks to entertain us tonight too!

Yesterday, we had intended on going to the Air Zoo, but I had trouble getting everyone organized..... so instead, we visited Lowell in the afternoon for a short photo walk. It was fun. I gave my neighbor girls an old camera phone to use, and the result was really interesting.... so I'm hoping to do it again today.

Doing Good Things

I'm going to be a "virtual walker" once again this year! I'm participating for my third year in a row in the Philly area Light the Night Walk. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are the hosts, and Carey's Angels is my team. I walk in memory of my mother who passed in 2000, and in honour of my husband who is now 5 1/2 years in remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
